23rd Annual Festival of Trees is This Weekend!

If you've never attended the Annual Festival of Trees, then you're missing out on a great local Holiday Tradition.  Benefiting the Outer Banks Hotline (a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of sexual and domestic violence), the Festival of Trees is a 3 day event that begins today and culminates on Saturday night with the Holiday Social.  Businesses sponsor trees, decorate them and then they are auctioned off to the highest bidder at the Holiday Social.

Starting at 108 Budleigh in Manteo, the Festival of Trees goes from noon-9PM both today and Friday with a silent auction, holiday bazaar, live musical performances, and story time for the children.  Cookies and punch will be served throughout the day.

On Saturday from noon-3PM at Jennette's Pier, visit and take a photograph with Santa, check out the decorated trees, and enjoy cookies and punch.  Saturday evening beginning at 6:30 at Jennette's Pier is the Holiday Social.  Tickets are $50 each, and the event will include the auctioning of the trees, live music and heavy hors d'ouerves.

Check out obxfestivaloftrees.com for more information and to buy Holiday Social tickets.
