Gorgeous Thanksgiving Week on the OBX
I apologize in advance if you're not here, or not planning on coming, to the Outer Banks this Thanksgiving week. The weather has been PERFECT. Not just pretty, but short-sleeves, walk your dogs on the beach, flip-flop wearing kind of pretty. And the rest of the week is supposed to be beautiful, too, with highs in the mid-sixties. Sorry for rubbing it in!!!
For those of you who are planning on celebrating Thanksgiving on the Outer Banks, yay for you! If you don't feel like slaving in the kitchen all day, you might want to try out some of our great restaurants that have Thanksgiving specials on the menu. I know that Kelly's Restaurant in Nags Head is open for Turkey Day, as is Ocean Boulevard, Captain George's and more. If you'd rather be more traditional, but don't feel like cooking, try ordering a pre-made Thanksgiving Dinner. I know that both Chilli Pepper's Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills and Coastal Provisions Catering, among others, are making Thanksgiving Dinner to-go. So whether you plan on making your own meal, eating out, or ordering in, enjoy your Thanksgiving here on the Outer Banks!
