JOIN the FUN: Wingo de Mayo This Weekend!
This Sunday May 7th, join the fun at Native Vine across the Wright Memorial Bridge in Point Harbor at the 6th annual Wingo de Mayo Festival. The festival consists of two separate events to please both the foodie and the oenophile: the 3rd Annual Great Wing Cook-Off and the 6th Annual Wine and Beer Jam. This year's Wingo de Mayo Festival benefits Children at Play, a local non-profit children's museum.
Tickets for the Wing Cook-Off are available only on the day of the event, and are $10 for those over 12, $5 for children 8-12, and FREE for children under 8. Tickets for the Annual Beer and Wine Jam are $25, and can be purchased the day of the event or ahead of time at Native Vine, Chilli Peppers or Children at Play as well as online at nativevine.com. Spend the day listening to live music from the Augmentals and Ominotago, tasting great wines and beers from around the world, checking out local arts and crafts, and voting on the best wings on the beach! Children are welcome at the event, so bring the whole family!
