Bike Week Underway!
It's been a hugely busy week on the Outer Banks... some restaurants and stores are saying it's comparable to the week of the 4th of July. Outer Banks Bike Week, which is currently underway, has been a great success. Even bigger and better than last year, the bikers have brought with them quite a nice boon to the Outer Banks economy. And the locals are thankful! Drive past any restaurant, hotel or store marquee and they all read: "Welcome, bikers!" or something along those lines. There's an ever-present roar of motorcycles along the highway, a testament to how many bikers traveled to the OBX to participate in Bike Week this year.
