Cure the Cooper Benefit at OB Brew Station

Today I'm blogging about an upcoming event that's very close to my heart, the Cure The Cooper Benefit at the Outer Banks Brewing Station.  You see, Cooper Abbott is a sweet two-year-old local boy who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in January.  He is one of my son's best buddies and his parents are dear friends of mine.  Thus far, Cooper has undergone chemotherapy and radiation to rid his body of cancer.  His story is every parent's worst nightmare, and the community has rallied together to show their support for the Abbott family.

On Saturday, April 2, please join us at the Outer Banks Brewing Station between 12PM-5PM for the Cure the Cooper Benefit.  There will be live music, a silent auction, a moon bounce, beach bungee trampoline, corn hole and more, all to raise money to help the Abbott family deal with their mounting medical expenses.  Among the many items in the silent auction are two signed Pittsburgh Steeler jerseys, gift certificates to local restaurants and spas, clothing items, toys and much more.  Come out and show your support for this wonderful family!
