JOIN the Fun: The OBX March Weekend You Don't Want to Miss
If you're on the fence about visiting the Outer Banks this Spring, let me sway you. Starting Thursday, March 17, through Sunday, March 20, the Outer Banks will be teeming with activity. From the annual OBX Taste of the Beach to the 4th Annual Shamrock All Wheels Show and Poker Run to the largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in North Carolina, there's plenty for everyone to do.
For a romantic getaway, you'll want to attend the Taste of the Beach's "Champagne Lounge" on Friday night or the "Aphrodisiac Wine and Beer Tasting" on Saturday night. If a wild weekend is more what you have in mind, try one of the OBX or Manteo pub crawls or party down at Pigman's "Porkin' Ain't EZ" festival. If you're a true foodie, you'll love taking part in the cooking classes, seafood samplings and tapas tastings happening all weekend long.
