Valentine's Weekend Activities on the OBX
Coming to the beach this weekend and looking for something fun and romantic to do? Both Friday and Saturday night, Native Vine (just across the Wright Memorial Bridge) will be hosting the "Aphrodisiac Wine and Beer Tasting". For $30 a person, you'll taste some fantastic wines paired with oysters, dark chocolate and other romance-inducing foods. Advance reservations are required, so call ahead 252-491-5311. Also across the bridge in Jarvisburg at The Cotton Gin, Sanctuary Vineyards will be hosting a FREE wine tasting on Saturday, February 12 during the day. Take advantage of sales on Valentine's gifts at The Cotton Gin while you're there. Additionally, 10% of all sales that day will be donated to two local non-profits, The Outer Banks Hotline and Albemarle Hopeline.
