Join the Fun!: Golfing on the OBX
I know that the end of January might seem like an odd time to write about the joys of golfing on the Outer Banks, but I'm actually right on target. You see, we often have mild winter days that are perfect for a round of golf... and even more enjoyable because you'll likely have the course all to yourself!
From Grandy to Nags Head and north to Corolla, you can't drive more than a few miles without passing a golf course. Whether it's the Duck Woods Country Club just South of the Wright Memorial or the Currituck Club in Corolla or the Nags Head Golf Links, championship courses abound. If your swing needs a little work, take a lesson from one of the many local golf pros. Some of the courses even offer special deals if you plan on playing several days during the week. So don't forget to pack your clubs... with so many fantastic courses nearby, you'll be glad you did!
