New Year's Eve on the OBX
New Year's Eve is such an exciting time-- time to celebrate the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one; time to get together with friends and family; and time to make those inspired resolutions. It's also a time to eat, drink and be merry on the Outer Banks! If you're looking for a fun place to celebrate the New Year, there are plenty of local restaurants taking reservations for this popular night, some with special menus for the occasion. If you're looking for something more festive, try the Outer Banks Brewing Station or Kelly's Outer Banks Tavern for live music and a crowd. The Brewing Station is featuring Tim Reynolds (of Dave Matthews Band fame) and his band TR3. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. Of course, just spending the weekend chilling out on the Outer Banks is a great way to ring in the New Year, even if you only leave your cottage to stroll the beach. Either way, the snow has melted, the roads are clear and the New Year is coming... so join us on the OBX!
