Grand Illumination at Elizabethan Gardens
'Tis the season for all of the wonderful Outer Banks Christmas events. This past week was the annual Festival of Trees, a benefit for the local organization Hotline which raises money to end domestic and sexual abuse. Held this year at The Pearl Oceanfront Restaurant, gorgeous trees were auctioned off to the highest bidder, guests enjoyed a night of "Champagne Rapture", Santa visited and a grand time was had by all.
This week, mark your calendars for the Elizabethan Gardens' Grand Illumination. The event sparks a ten night long celebration. Guests can roast marshmallows, drink hot cocoa and be entertained by the Dockside Theatre Company. The Garden's gift shop will be running special sales during this time, including 10% off all merchandise. Check out elizabethangardens.org for more information on tickets and times.
