Wags & Whiskers Gala
Want to do a little good for area pets and have fun at the same time? Check out the second annual Wags and Whiskers Gala at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island on the evening of November 19th. For $45 per person, you can enjoy live music, dinner buffet, dancing, a silent auction and a live auction. Items up for auction include a fishing trip, a vacation in a local oceanfront home, a gourmet dinner by Coastal Provisions, a party at Native Vine, a sailing course and a sailboat rental from Nor'Banks Sailing. Proceeds from the event will go to the Animal Lovers Assistance League, Coastal Humane Society, Feline Hope, Friends of Pooh, Friends of Felines on Cape Hatteras Island and the Outer Banks SPCA.
