Outer Banks Marathon Next Weekend
Next weekend is the annual Outer Banks Marathon. This event keeps getting bigger and bigger each year because the Outer Banks is a wonderful, beautiful and FLAT place to run! For those participating in the marathon, the race begins at 7:20am on Sunday morning. The course begins just south of the intersection of Kitty Hawk Road and the Woods Road in Kitty Hawk and ends in downtown Manteo. There are plenty of fun events scheduled all weekend including the night before Pasta Party, the post-race Pirate Jamboree Party, and the Gateway Bank Half-Marathon. There will also be free shuttles to take spectators from the start to the finish line. Check out obxmarathon.com for detailed race information.
