What a sight last night as I drove home past the pier -- the parking lot looked like the lot of a pickup truck/SUV dealership!  Confirming my suspicion, when I reached home my husband was frantically trying to decide whether to go fishing right then or wait until morning.  The kids were able to ground him last night, but early this morning he geared up and left in a fishing fever frenzy.  This morning the pier parking lot was packed again, and both sides of the peir were lined with hopeful anglers.  Come on down to the Outer Banks!  It's that fishing time of year, and the weather is great!
