Children at Play Museum to Open Soon!

As a mother to a toddler, sometimes I find myself searching for educational and fun indoor activities.  Sure, there's plenty to do outside... we've got beaches and parks galore... but besides the North Carolina Aquarium (which my blog readers know I visit often), there's just not that much.  So I'm excited to announce the soon-to-be opening of Children at Play, a hands-on museum for children.  The non-profit museum plans to open sometime later this summer, and I can hardly wait!  Located at milepost 4 in the Sea Dunes Shoppes, Children at Play will be geared towards children 8 and under.  The exhibits will range from a ship with magnetic fishing poles to a lighthouse to a "wonder wall" with buttons and switches that kids can play with.  My own business is located next door to the new children's museum--and Sam often comes into work with me--so I'm sure we'll be frequent visitors.  I'll be sure to report back once it's open!
