Join other runners on Monday, July 5th for the Killer Dunes Race over Jockey's Ridge.  Not for the faint-hearted, this race takes participants over the deep, soft sand dunes of Jockey's Ridge.  This 2-mile event is sponsored by the Outer Banks Running Club and the Easter Seals of North Carolina, a non-profit that helps people with disabalities.  In 2009, the event raised thousands of dollars for the ENC Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and local leukemia patient Lori Campbell.
