Snow!

I have lived here on and off for fifteen years, and the snow we had yesterday was the second-largest accumulation of snowfall I have ever seen on the Outer Banks!  (The biggest snowfall I remember was in the winter of 2002 or 2003... I was bartending at Chilli Peppers, and I swear we were the only place in town open.  I served drinks until the pipes froze!)  But alas, I have been homebound all weekend with my toddler Sam who has an ear infection.  No sledding for me!  But Sam's buddy Fletcher and his parents made it out to the Wright Memorial yesterday to enjoy sledding down the hill, Outer Banks-style... on a surfboard!  Check out these pictures of Fletcher and his parents Sean and Melanie making the most of the snow.
