Cold Snap Finally Coming to an End!

Brrrrrr!  According to weather forecasters, these past few weeks have been some of the coldest on record.  Even Florida felt the freeze!  The cold snap felt throughout the southeast was one of the longest that this region has seen in which temperatures consistently fell below freezing.  Not exactly beachy weather!  But finally, after many days of bundling up (with scarves and gloves, no less!), we're getting ready to see the temperatures return to something a little more seasonal--just in time for the weekend.  Don't bust out your swimsuit and flip flops just yet, but it looks like we might return to the low fifties by Friday, which is good news for anyone who's planned to visit the OBX this weekend.
