Lobster Dinner at Coastal Provisions Market
One of my favorite places to pick up sandwiches and do some light grocery shopping is Coastal Provisions Market in Southern Shores. Scott and Dan, the owners, are always
there; I don't think I've ever stepped foot into their shop when I
haven't been greeted by at least one of them with a big smile and
friendly wave. Adam and I had lunch there today at their indoor picnic tables. I ordered my favorite, the Brie BLT (brie, bacon,lettuce and tomato), and he chose the turkey and honey mustard on ciabatta bread. Beyond sandwiches and grocery items, the guys like to hold special dinners one night a month that feature whatever's fresh and in-season, paired with wines they sell in the store. This month's dinner happens to be tomorrow, and its going to be a seven-course lobster feast! Yum. Call 252-480-0023 for more information on available seats (space is limited). If you're in-town for Thanksgiving and looking for a fun Friday night activity, stop by and sample some of their sparklers from around the globe. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door, so it's worth planning this one ahead.
