"Bike the Light" 8K Next Weeekend

Grab your helmets... next weekend is the Kiwanis Club's "Bike the Light", a family-friendly event that starts at the Cape Hatteras Secondary School in Buxton and ends at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.  Bikers are encouraged to decorate their bikes and dress in costumes, and prizes will be awarded.  The entry fee is $5, which includes a commemorative t-shirt and food and drink after the ride.  The event begins at 9AM, and registration starts at 8AM.  For those on vacation who did not bring bikes, Ocean Atlantic Rentals will have bikes available.  For more information, visit www.bikethelight.com or call 252-995-3125.
