Outer Banks Pro Am This Weekend!

Looking for something fun (and FREE) to do this weekend?  Stop by the Outer Banks Pro Am surfing competition in Nags Head at Jeanette's Pier beside the Comfort Inn South.  Held from September 18-20, this non-sanctioned competition will feature 96 of the region's best surfers and has a cash purse of $10,000-$15,000.  The Pro-Am will decide the qualifiers for the infamous "Battle of the Banks" 2009 surf competition that pits surfers from Virginia Beach against surfers from the Outer Banks.  Last year, Virginia Beach surfers won--which was a big upset--and Outer Banks surfers are hungry to win this one back.  Visit waveridingvehicles.com for more information.
