#4 - Watching the Sunset
Okay, so you can watch the sunset just about anywhere you live... but when you see the sunset over the Albemarle Sound, you'll really see something spectacular. Last night was one of those gorgeous, crisp spring nights on the Outer Banks, the perfect evening to catch the twilight show over the water. I marveled at the pinks, yellows, and purples... all melting together as the orange sun slipped beyond the horizon. A glorious sight, indeed, and one you don't want to miss. There are plenty of great places to catch the sunset, whether it's the public dock on Bay Drive in Kill Devil Hills, the crest of the sand dune at Jockey's Ridge in Nags Head, or atop the deck at your rental cottage.
