Ice Skating in Currituck

Back in December, the Ice Haus opened in Currituck--eastern North Carolina's first ice skating rink.  The rink has become such a hit with the community that it's staying open until mid-March!  Take the kids for ice skating lessons, sign up for ice hockey (there are both youth and adult teams) or simply enjoy an evening on the ice with friends.  The weekends are a great and inexpensive time to skate; the Ice Haus offers $5 Skate Specials Friday-Sunday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  The Ice Haus is also a fun date destination; on Fridays and Saturdays the rink stays open until 11pm.  Skate for a good cause this Thursday night from 5pm - 9pm as part of the rink's "Skate for the Cure" fundraiser.  The ice will be pink and the goal is to raise cancer awareness.  Check out currituckiceskating.com or call 252-491-5205 for upcoming events and more information.  The Ice Haus is located across the bridge in Jarvisburg on the Caratoke Highway.
