Saturday Night Family-Bowl
Looking for something budget-friendly and fun to do on Saturday night with your kids? Check out the Nags Head Bowling Center. Last weekend, Adam, Sam and I, along with some friends and their daughter decided to try an outing at the Nags Head Bowling Center. Keep in mind, Sam is less than a year and a half old, so all outings must be highly entertaining and FAST! Our friends' daughter is the same age, so we decided to see how "Family Bowl" night would go... a bold experiment with two toddlers, indeed! I'm pleased to report that the night was a total success. For just $30, our two families were able to bowl a few games, drink a pitcher of soda and have six slices of pizza. Not bad! For those interested, every Saturday night at 5pm, the bowling alley has their Family Bowl night. They turn the lights down, put on disco lights and play music. This was a big plus for our crowd; the disco lights were a hit with the kiddies and the noise drowned out any moments of fussiness. Even better, it's inexpensive and entertaining for the whole family. I'd recommend calling ahead to reserve a lane; the place was booked solid. For more info, call 252-441-7077.
