Black Friday
Thanksgiving weekend on the Outer Banks was an unusually (and thankfully!) busy one this year. Judging by the number of cars on the road and the Black Friday shoppers I encountered, the OBX was hopping with vacationers celebrating their Turkey Day seaside. I hope everyone got a chance to take advantage of all the great Black Friday sales. I stopped by the big Barr-ee Station tent sale in Duck, and could hardly find a parking spot! There were lots of great bargains to be had. Of course, I'm the sort of shopper who also shops for myself while shopping for others, and couldn't resist buying a few--drastically reduced--things at All & Maddy in Duck. I hope everyone supports local businesses this Chrsitmas season and buys locally!
