The featured exhibit this month at the Art Gallery at Roanoke Island Festival Park is the Studio Gallery of Elizabeth City.  Five women from the River City, Mary Crutchfield, Margie Sawyer, Peggy West, Patrician Sterritt and Ricky Thornton, have been painting together for over 35 years.  Although a close knit group that often travels together and creates art together, each woman has their own individual unique style. 

Featured will be acrylics, watercolors, water media, printmaking and collage.  There's something for everybody!  The opening reception is free and open to the public and will be held Sunday September 7 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The show can be viewed Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
