Children's Performance Series Continues at Festival Park: The Nightingale
The renowned Tarradiddle Players, the resident touring company of the Children's Theater of Charlotte, return to Roanoke Island Festival Park this summer with a touching performance of Hans Christian Anderson's The Nightingale. Audiences will enjoy their version of the tale of the Chinese Emperor with a penchant for the finest of everything, only to learn that the simple things in life are often the most pleasing.
The Tarradiddle Players have delighted over one million children with their performances in schools, churches and community centers. The Nightingale runs from July 15 - July 18 at 10:30 in the film theater at Roanoke Island Festival Park. Performances are free with paid admission to the park. Tickets required.
