Folks have been asking about the ramps that are open for beach driving.  I was reading the paper this morning and thought you would like to know as of today June 6th the following ramps are open for beach driving. They are south of Oregon Inlet.  Remember that everyone over the age of 15 needs a current fishing license.    Please be responsible and never drive or climb on the dunes and watch for wildlife.
  
Closures were removed this week are on the beach between Ramp 23 and Ramp 27, between Ramp 43 and Ramp 44 on Hatteras Island and between Ramp 67 and Ramp 68 on Ocracoke Island.
