Watercolors by local artist Megan Rubino will be the gallery highlight at the Art Gallery at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo during the month of June.  Rubino, who holds a BFA in art education from East Carolina University, paints uplifting coastal scenes.  She participates in several outdoor art shows and her work can be viewed in galleries from Corolla to Ocracoke.  The artist admits to being inspired by the little things she encounters everyday, and hopes her artwork will inspire others to appreciate their surroundings.

The exhibit opens May 30th, with the opening reception Sunday June 1 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through June 30 and is free and open to the public Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
