On Sunday March 16th the Beach Road will come alive with floats, bands, and groups of people decked out in their festive green for the annual Kelly's Restaurant and Tavern St. Patrick's Day Parade.  The event starts at 1:00 p.m. and heads north on the Beach Road from Milepost 12 to Milepost 10.5, rain or shine. 

The parade is the largest St. Patricks's Day parade in North Carolina and is always tons of fun. Don't forget that the Coastal Humane Society holds their Walk-a-thon fund raiser as part of the event.  Scores of Outer Banks dogs and their owners come out and walk together.  For more information about the parade call 441-4116.
