Quilt time at Roanoke Island Festival Park

It's almost quilt time over at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.  Every year the Teacup Quilters organize the Priceless Pieces Quilt Show which features quilts made by or owned by local residents.  The show, now in its eleventh year, is set to run from March 1 - March 28 in the Art Gallery at Roanoke Island Festival Park.

If you've never been, it's a sight to see.  Imagine colorful quilts hanging from ceiling to floor.  While some are antiques and family heirlooms, others are brand new and crafted by the Teacup Quilters.  View scores of quilts in dozens of patterns.

A special quilting supply vendor day is set for Saturday March 15 from Noon - 4:00 p.m. and on Thursday March 13 the Hatteras Quilt Guild will present a Trunk Quilt Show in the Small Auditorium from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

The show is open for viewing Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and from Noon - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  Opening reception is March 2 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Make sure to purchase a raffle ticket for your chance to win this quilt "A Taste of Carolina" crafted by the Teacup
Quilters.
