Sandy Run Park is a new facility on The Woods Road in Kitty Hawk.  The site features picnic shelters with tables, a kayak launch, basketball half-court, shuffleboard as well as a beautiful handicapped accessible boardwalk through Kitty Hawk Woods. 

It's also a great place to park your car to use the David Paul Pruitt, Jr. Mult-use Path that runs along The Woods Road through Kitty Hawk Woods.  Walkers and bikers can also access the Twiford Street Multi-use Path that meanders back into Kitty Hawk Village.  Invest an hour or two this winter walking in the woods!
