The Outer Banks Now & Then
The staff at the Outer Banks History Center in Manteo has been busy preparing a new exhibit The Outer Banks Now and Then: Where We Are and Where We've Been which is set to open Friday evening February 29. The exhibit will feature topics such as boatbuilding, fishing, midwifery and it is hoped that it will inspire viewers to dive deeper into the vast collections of the Outer Banks History Center to learn more about the area's lively past.
The opening reception is February 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Outer Banks History Center Gallery at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
The Outer Banks Now and Then: Where We Are and Where We've Been will be on display through 2008.
