Dr. William McLennan will give a presentation Whales in North Carolina as part of the National Park Service Know Your Park series.  McLennan has studied whales for over two decades, first while working at the Smithsonian and since 1995 as a biologist and research associate at UNC-Wilmington.

The program will be held Wednesday February 27th at 7:00 at the Fessenden Center in Buxton and will focus on whales which are seen off the North Carolina coast, especially the endangered right whale.
