Two Concerts at Festival Park for Freedman's Colony Weekend
Blues musician Kal David will perform in the Film Theater at Roanoke Island Festival Park Friday February 22nd at 7:30 p.m. A native of Chicago, David offers an entertaining mix of blues and jazz. He was lead guitarist for John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and also performed with rhythm and blues great Bo Didley. Tickets go on sale February 18th and are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door.
On Sunday afternoon February 24th, David and Monique Griffiths will present a classical gospel concert in the Film Theater at Festival Park. The husband and wife team has performed across America and around the world bringing their special gift of music to countless appreciative audiences. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. Admission is free with paid admission to the park.

We went to this event a couple of years ago and it was incredible! The location is very intimate so you get a real treat.
