Moonlight Ghost Tour at the Whalehead Club
The Whalehead Club, at Currituck Heritage Park in Corolla, is a 21,000 square foot structure built in the early 1920s for wealthy northern industrialists who were drawn to the area to hunt waterfowl. After falling into disrepair, the Whalehead Club has been renovated and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Adventurers are invited to take a Moonlight Ghost Tour of the Whalehead Club and its grounds Saturday February 2nd at 7:00 p.m. In addition to experiencing the grandeur of the Art Nouveau structure, you'll also enjoy some stories and legends about the area. Dress appropriately as part of the tour will take place outside.
Additional Moonlight Ghost Tours will be offered March 1 and April 5 and will take place on Thursday nights at dark May - August.
Admission for the Moonlight Tour is $12.00 per person. Advance reservations are required. Call 252-453-9040 ext. 2.
