Frank Stick Memorial Art Show in 30th Year

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Frank Stick Memorial Art Show, sponsored by the Dare County Arts Council.  The show, which is the longest running in the area, features various artist's works in a variety of mediums all on display at Glenn Eure's Ghost Fleet Gallery on Gallery Row in Nags Head.

The show is named in honor of Frank Stick, an artist, conservationist, developer and visionary who visited the area in the 1920s and immediately saw the potential the area had as a vacation destination due to its historic attractions, undeveloped beaches and recreational opportunities.

The opening reception for the Frank Stick Memorial Art Show is Saturday January 19th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. View the show January 20 - February 15.
